We love celebrating with the moms in our community especially when they look back at how far they’ve come! These moms showcase some of the amazing results they’ve had with The 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and how much their lives have changed living a Healthy Mommy lifestyle.
Marcia Nix McTaggart
Marcia says “ There is a year between these two photos. I’m down almost 20lbs, 2 pants sizes, a shirt size, and a bra size. My body has changed so much. I’m proud of all the hard work I’ve put in, and I can’t wait to see where I am in another year with The Healthy Mommy!!! I’ve got a ways to go, but I know that I have the tools for success!!!”
Kai Helen Cooper
Kai says “I’ve been following The Healthy Mommy since last summer and have lost 17 lbs. I’m taking it slowly, as I’m also breastfeeding at the moment. Slow and steady wins the race. By the way, the app calculates additional 500 daily kcal for breastfeeding/pumping moms!”
Sheridan says “Before The Healthy Mommy, an injury would have me very nervous about putting on weight, not being able to work out, and would lead to self-sabotage like chocolate binging. But now I’m so much more knowledgeable. Can’t use the treadmill or do standing lower body weights? Switch to upper body and core focus this week while I heal. Lower body floor exercises like donkey kicks, fire hydrants etc. I make it work.
I’ve lost 33lbs with The Healthy Mommy since May 2018, but it’s not just the weight loss. I’ve learned so much about myself and how to work best with my body.”

Jenny Says “I thought I was healthy by restricting food groups and calories. I exercised to allow myself to eat certain foods. I only cared what the number on the scale showed. After having 2 kids, I wanted more for my kids than watching their mom always on a diet, living by the number on the scale, and saying I can’t eat that. I started working out differently. I wanted to be strong, to be able to keep up with the kids, and show them how to live a healthy life. But I was still restricting food and calories. I had baby 3 and was back at pre-baby weight but no results after 2 years of following what to eat and how to workout.
I started with The Healthy Mommy a year ago and I’ve never been happier or healthier. I’ve gained muscle, feel and look strong, lost 2 inches from my waist and hips, went down a clothing size, eat the same meals as my family, eat ALL food groups and eating double the calories I ate before. My weight is the same in these pictures so please remember to use measurements, pictures and how your clothes feel to see true results.”
Kristi says “The pic on the left is from June 2019. It has been almost a year on my Healthy Mommy journey. This has been by far the most sustainable plan I have ever used. It truly is a lifestyle change. I don’t spend hours in a gym working out. I try to get in 30 minutes at least 4 days a week. I made changes to my eating habits with The Healthy Mommy food plan and LOVE all the wonderful things I still get to enjoy!
While my scale isn’t even close to where my goal is I know I have made great progress. My clothes all fit better and my energy level is much higher. I even treated myself to a new pair of joggers for my progress!
