  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Spray a frying pan (or use the barbecue grill) with oil and heat over high heat. Cook beef for 4 minutes each side, or until cooked to your liking. Set aside to rest for a few minutes, then slice.
  3. While the meat is cooking, lightly spray the pita bread half (use one half of pita bread per serving) with cooking oil spray and place on a baking tray in the oven. Cook until crisp and slightly golden.
  4. In a bowl combine all the fresh salad ingredients with the lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. When the pita bread is crunchy, break into small pieces and toss through the salad. Top salad with beef slices and an extra squeeze of lemon juice if desired, to serve.
