Spray a frying pan (or use the barbecue grill) with oil and heat over high heat. Cook beef for 4 minutes each side, or until cooked to your liking. Set aside to rest for a few minutes, then slice.
While the meat is cooking, lightly spray the pita bread half (use one half of pita bread per serving) with cooking oil spray and place on a baking tray in the oven. Cook until crisp and slightly golden.
In a bowl combine all the fresh salad ingredients with the lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
